Tackling heterogeneity in Sjögren’s disease
A one size fits all approach rarely works in rheumatology and Sjögren’s disease is no exception. Insufficient understanding of patient heterogeneity and its effect on therapeutic responses has contributed to numerous failed trials and an absence of evidence-based treatment options for patients with Sjögren’s disease.
