Microglial APOE3 Christchurch protects neurons from Tau pathology in a human iPSC-based model of Alzheimer’s disease
Sun et al. demonstrate that APOE3 Christchurch microglia protect neurons from Aβ-induced Tau pathology by regulating lipid peroxidation and phagocytosis. Targeting APOE and lipid metabolism in microglia represents a promising therapeutic strategy for Alzheimer’s disease.
