Mahmoud Aljurf obtained his medical degree in 1985 and completed internship at King Khaled University Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Subsequently he completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Bosto n, MA, USA), and combined Hematology & Oncology Fellowships at Stanford University Medical Center (Palo Alto, CA, USA). He also received a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD, USA) and FRCPath degree from the United Kingdom.
