Mashup Score: 182024: Education in the AI Era - 2 month(s) ago
DBMI’s 10th Annual Conference on Precision Medicine looks at the tremendous promise that artificial intelligence (AI) holds for democratizing and enhancing both medical education and care delivery, while many unanswered questions remain about implementation, usability, and appropriate guardrails for safety-critical domains like medicine. How are current medical students, residents, fellows, and professors already using generative AI in both the classroom and the hospital? Will generative AI enable primary care providers and specialists alike to deliver precision medicine across populations? Will these tools reduce or exacerbate persistent healthcare disparities? Will change be driven more by technologists or by care providers? Precision Medicine 2024 will provide a platform to discuss these and other foundational questions.
