Infiltrating plasma cells maintain glioblastoma stem cells through IgG-Tumor binding
Gao et al. show that the plasma cells (PCs) can be recruited to glioblastoma stem cell (GSC) niches via the CCL2-CCR2 chemokine program and promote glioblastoma growth by regulating GSCs through the IgG-FcγRIIA-AKT-mTOR axis. Blocking PC-mediated stimulation of GSCs represents a promising therapeutic strategy for cancer immunotherapy.
