Acute T cell leukemia in a stable recipient of a heart transplantation
Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL) is a rare disease caused by the human T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV). Only 4% of patients infected with HTLV contract ATLL, and most take decades to present with malignancy. Herein, we present a rare case of ATLL following a heart transplantation.
