A brain-wide map of descending inputs onto spinal V1 interneurons
Chapman et al. generate a brain-wide atlas of supraspinal inputs to cervical V1 interneurons. Monosynaptic input arises from over two dozen brain regions, some of which preferentially innervate molecularly distinct V1 subsets. These results provide an anatomical foundation for understanding how the brain communicates with spinal interneurons.
