This morning, taking a moment to observe the environment I live in, I noticed the robins’ singsong and their flirting dance in our backyard’s grass, the fallen lavender-purple petals of the rhododendrons blanketing the mulched ground below in mauve, the sun-less, flat white sky. It’s delightful what you spy when you stop and pay attention, even if for just a moment.
