Amyloidosis is a confounding disease that hides in plain sight for years, and even decades. Unfortunately, by the time many people receive their amyloidosis diagnosis, irreparable organ damage has already occurred. In this session, Dr. Bumma, a hematologist at Ohio State’s amyloidosis program, will discuss the various tests available and the important role they play in diagnosing and treating amyloidosis patients.
