The current standard of care for CTCL
In this video, Pierluigi Porcu, MD, Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA, outlines the current standard of care (SoC) for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). Dr Porcu explains that the therapeutic approach selected for a patient is based on the stage of the disease at presentation. Patients with early-stage disease typically receive various forms of skin-directed therapy, which can be effective for a long time. Advanced-stage disease and early-stage disease that stops responding to skin-directed therapies require systemic treatment.
