In June of each year, hematology trainees from across Canada gather in Toronto, Ontario for the National Hematology Resident Retreat. This event spans a weekend of educational activities including a mock oral examination, specialized workshop (topics changing yearly), Jerry Scott Half-Day of expert lectures, and morphology exam/review. The retreat is coordinated with the Annual Hematology Web-based Written Exam which is offered in June, to provide a full spectrum of examination preparation for senior
