As described in the Result Area 7 in the Global AIDS Strategy young people need to be fully empowered and resourced to set new directions for the HIV response and unlock the progress needed to end the AIDS pandemic. Their leadership is both crucial and under-utilized. One of the blockers from reaching their full potential is the lack of access to funding to further their education, attending events and conferences and implementing youth-led projects. Many scholarship opportunities are highly competitive, and guidance is rarely provided. This workshop aims to: – Provide participants with guidance on how to navigate competitive application processes. – Equip participants with the tools to succeed in scholarship applications. – Offer participants space to ask questions and seek advice from experts.
