Soon after her youngest child Sinéad, was diagnosed with leukaemia aged 13 in 2022, Margaret received her own breast cancer diagnosis (both pictured above). Every year in Ireland, almost 45,000 people hear the words ‘you have cancer’, and sadly around 9,000 people don’t survive the disease. This year, we are asking you to join us and go all in against cancer. By working together we can transform the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer in our communities across Ireland.
