Pharma-cise in the Glucagon-like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists Era
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a silo as “an isolated grouping, department, etc, that functions apart from others especially in a way seen as hindering communication and cooperation.”1 Unfortunately, this definition continues to categorize how, in larger part, the US health care system functions and scientific inquiry is conducted and its findings presented. This is, of course, suboptimal given the complex interrelationships with a myriad of health conditions and associated risk factors.
