Macromolecular radical networks for organic soft magnets
Organic soft magnets are developed from polymer networks containing nitroxide radical functional groups. These macromolecular polymer networks are designed to fabricate metal-free, soft organic magnets with tunable magnetic and mechanical properties. These polymers provide a sustainable and nontoxic alternative to traditional metallic magnets in application areas where soft, biocompatible materials are needed, such as in medical soft robotics or imaging.
