Gut microbiota imbalances may influence fibromyalgia
Imbalances in the intestinal microbiota could lead to development of fibromyalgia. People with fibromyalgia seem to have higher levels of Clostridium, Bacteroides, Coprococcus and Ruminococcus, but lower levels of Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, Eubacterium, Lachnospiraceae and Firmicutes.
