A Texas judge rules coverage of anti-HIV medicine violates religious freedom

Last week, a federal judge in Texas ruled that requiring employers to provide the HIV prevention drug PrEP violates their “religious freedom.” This is an unbelievable violation of human rights, and this ruling is yet another case of government intrusion in the patient-doctor relationship (i.e., Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization). We must stand up against political decisions in place of scientifically proven interventions.
