Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is a complex inflammatory disease process that frequently presents with significant type 2 signaling and comorbid disease.1 Co-occurring lower airway disease such as asthma is often difficult to control and presents a clinical challenge. When considering these diseases and the underlying inflammation, it is the goal of treatment to identify therapies that will improve these conditions simultaneously. There has been significant work looking at the united airways disease concept and type 2 inflammation in an effort to help focus our tools and treatments.
