    When Andy’s mom noticed he wasn’t hitting early milestones, she turned to Seattle Children’s Hospital for answers. At just 1 year old, he was referred to a neurosurgeon to rule out the possibility of a brain tumor.     At 8 years old, Brooke’s pediatrician noticed an abnormal gate that led doctors to discover she had a collapsed L5 vertebrae. Further testing showed she had Ewing’s Sarcoma. She was quickly admitted to Advocate Children’s Hospital, where she met the team of specialists who would guide her care—including child life experts, neurologists, hematologists, and oncologists.
