Amid a national reckoning with racism, calls for action in health care prompted a renewed urgency in addressing cardiovascular health disparities. 1 In response, cardiology fellowship programs were encouraged to cultivate a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) by implementing initiatives to diversify the phys ician workforce and combat racism. 2 Although DEI efforts within cardiology have been proposed and implemented to varying degrees, the perceptions of cardiovascular fellows‐in‐training
