Major history for FRESHMAN Sophie Suh as she wins the CIF-SS Championship today at Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont. Sophie won the first set 7-5, coming back from a 3-5 deficit. She dominated the second set 6-1 for the win. Suh joins OLu alum and 2023 Hall of Fame inductee Kaitlyn Christian as the only other CIF Singles Champion in school history. Kaitlyn won the 2009 finals after reaching the semis in 2007, the finals in ‘08, and finally breaking through for the win in ‘09. Congrats, Sophie, on a historical accomplishment!!
