NCPD/ILNA Coded – What I Tell MyPatients: Integrating New Research Information into Current Clinical Care in the Management of Myelofibrosis
This unique NCPD symposium series was designed to assist oncology nurses as they attempt to optimize patient care and interpret recent clinical and research advances. Moderated by Dr Neil Love, each event will feature a stellar faculty to include 2 clinical investigators and 2 nurse practitioners. To support the theme of the project, each faculty member will develop several mini-presentations designed to elucidate “What I Tell My Patients” about specific management issues or topics. The faculty members will also present cases from their practices that illustrate how they approach patient education and care for a variety of challenging clinical situations. To make these activities more interactive and engaging, both in-person and remote attendees will be able to answer real-time polling related to the case scenarios and topics discussed and submit their own questions and cases to the faculty.
