Toxic erythema of chemotherapy (TEC) is the umbrella term for multiple eruptions caused by chemotherapeutic agents. TEC may last for up to a month. Although confirmatory studies are warranted, research suggests that the anti-inflammatory action of high-dose vitamin D may be of therapeutic value in TEC.
