A chance to be the Change
Hello, My name is Elias Hanna. I am a student at Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, with a deep desire to make a meaningful impact and help others who are in need. – Do you know that Cancer is the leading cause of death among kids in USA? – Do you know that Leukemia is the most common cancer in kids? Because of these facts; I see the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as an incredible non-for-profit organization that helps patients and families fighting for their lives. From a young age, I have been inspired by my dad, a pediatric oncologist at Cleveland Clinic, who taught me that when we lift others, we elevate our own lives. He has ignited my passion to help kids with cancer. I had the opportunity to meet many patients during different events and saw the challenges and struggles they face – we need more innovative therapies to save lives and need better therapies with less side effects.
