Long-term clinical outcomes of percutaneous coronary intervention for ostial left main coronary artery disease
A study of 4,625 patients with unprotected left main disease undergoing PCI found the 3-year risk of myocardial infarction was lower for ostial versus bifurcation lesions, with procedural complications increasing risk and recent PCI reducing it.
