Boot Camp is designed for first-year fellows from cardiac anesthesiology, cardiac surgery, cardiology, and vascular surgery. This program emphasizes cross-disciplinary education and training that follows the guiding principles of “Teach broadly. Teach early. Teach basics.” The training will provide attendees with two and a half days of intensive expert-led lectures and hands-on training where they will have the opportunity to learn and practice common techniques, gain exposure to various devices, and conduct cadaveric and explant model dissections illustrating anatomy and exposure techniques.
