    Following the success of Women in Brain Computer Interfaces, the second edition of this topic endeavours to go further in highlighting female researchers in BCI. Considering the vast applications of BCI, this multidisciplinary field involves a wide variety of researchers, including neuroscientists, medical doctors, psychologists, engineers, mathematicians, philosophers, and others. As such, we are delighted to invite articles from women from all areas relevant to BCI, including, but not limited to, theory, applications, ethics, development of algorithms and neuroscience research.At present, fewer than 30% of researchers worldwide are women. Long-standing biases and gender stereotypes are discouraging girls and women from pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) research.
