The Innovation Council was been meeting monthly since 2019 to create the resources and infrastructure to ensure that the Stanford Department of Surgery maintains its national position as the leader in surgery innovation. Members of the council engage with Stanford and Silicon Valley leaders to encourage innovation in medical device, biotech, digital health and educational innovation.
