Offline: China—moments of opportunity
In his book, China’s World View (2024), David Daokui Li argues that western countries should not be concerned about China’s emergence as a powerful competitor to the US. Why? One of these challenges is how to grow the capacity of the health system to deliver universal health coverage by the government’s own stated deadline—2030.
