Speaking of “shownotes,” be sure to check out and bookmark the link here. Let’s face it, there is a lot of information in hematology and oncology. Hopefully, you learn it better by listening to our show, but in the event that you want to get the name of a trial we discussed (or better read the trial), or need a quick refresher before starting a new rotation or seeing a new patient, the shownotes are a perfect option.

Not only are we producing a high-quality educational podcast, but as medical educators ourselves, we are forever curious about how we as an educational community can teach better. This year, Vivek and Ronak both attended the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) conference in Chicago, IL to present not one, but TWO abstracts looking at TFOC as a supplemental teaching tool in graduate medical education. More studies are coming soon!

We recently wrapped up our extensive 13-part Breast Cancer series where we discussed the ins-and-outs of breast cancer, including interviews with breast imaging radiologists, breast surgeons, radiation oncologists, and pharmacists - the whole team critical to the care of our patients. One of these episodes we are highlighting here where we interviewed a patient about her journey through breast cancer. Arguably our most important episode to date, we invite you to listen and hear this young physician share her take.
