ESMO and WCLC: An Eventful Month in Thoracic Oncology

Dear readers,

September has been full of excitement, beginning with the IASLC 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, California. We were thrilled to attend the meeting in person to bring you news and interviews focused on the latest data and key developments in the field.

We’re featuring an interview with WCLC Co-Chair Narjust Florez, MD, who discusses the conference planning process, key highlights, and more. We’re also proud to highlight our interview with Xiuning Le, MD, PhD, who had the historic distinction of being the first author on 2 IASLC Presidential Symposium plenary presentations.

Close on the heels of the IASLC 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer was the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress, which was filled with practice-changing news and updates in thoracic oncology. Don’t miss our ESMO video interviews on MARIPOSA, CITADEL, and key meeting highlights!
