Dr. Eleni Efstathiou is a Professor of Cancer Medicine and GenitoUrinary Medical Oncology Section Chief at the Houston Methodist Cancer Center. She is known for her breakthrough translational research in prostate cancer. Dr Efstathiou’s main research focus is targeted novel therapeutics as tools to guide marker-driven treatment strategies in prostate cancer, and genomic and non-genomic pathways of resistance.

I am excited to share some segments from the prostate cancer roundtable from the ESMO Congress 2024. I joined a panel of experts in the field featuring Drs. Andrew Lacetti, Ulka Vaishampayan, and Michael Schweizer to discuss updates in prostate cancer and what we hope to see in the field.

In this newsletter, I included the first two roundtable segments, where we discussed hormone-sensitive disease and the impact of PEACE III.
