    We investigated both oncologist and patient preferences for the 1st-line treatment of advanced urothelial carcinoma. Patient preferences were based on treatment experience, while oncologists preferred treatments that prolong overall survival. Results help frame direct clinical discussions, treatment recommendations and clinical guideline development. We need to have an interactive dialogue among stakeholders, equitable access to therapies and broader dissemination of evidence-based education. We also include the patient’s voices in clinical trial designs, clinical decision-making, guidelines and advocacy.
