I wrote this op-ed reflecting on the war in Ukraine and my time spent there delivering trauma care and educating non-trauma-based physicians on the basics of trauma. My thesis is that, as healthcare workers, we need to focus more on the emotional trauma that we experience as relief workers and the emotional trauma experienced by our patients when they experience physical trauma. #Ukraine #EndAllWars
